Reinigeadal is about 50 minutes drive from Stornoway and about 20 minutes drive from Tarbert, the main port on the Isle of Harris.
Directions
From Tarbert (an Tairbeart)
Take the A859 towards Stornoway (Steornabhagh) and after about 5 miles take the right turn signposted Maaruig / Reinigeadal. This is a single track road with passing places. Follow the road down the hill and turn right at the signpost just before you reach the houses at Maaruig. Rhenigidale is a further 4 miles on at the road end and The School House is on the right as you come down the hill into the village.
From Stornoway (Steornabhagh)
Take the A859 out of the town towards Tarbert (an Tairbeart) and after about 30 miles take the left turn signposted Maaruig / Reinigeadal. This is a single track road with passing places. Follow the road down the hill and turn right at the signpost just before you reach the houses at Maaruig. Rhenigidale is a further 4 miles on at the road end and The School House is on the right as you come down the hill into the village.
